Welcome to the history & timeline of Airfasco:
Our name comes from the first letters of the following three (3) words from what we actually manufacture.
Airfasco stands for Aircraft Fastener Company and pronounced ... "Air Fas Co".
In 1984, Statesville Screw a manufacturing company of screws and pins went out of business. Seeing the chance to expand Airfasco’s production, Dennis
bought their equipment including 30 Waterbury Hi-Pro cold headers and began manufacturing AN, MS, NAS machine screws as well as MS20392 pins.
Airfasco wasn’t just about cold forming and ten years later 1994, Mercury Aerospace shut down their business of hot forming. Dennis purchased the
manufacturing equipment assets so that Airfasco could produce our line of large hot formed bolts, nuts and pins.
After 24 years of successful business, Airfasco was growing and saw the need to consolidate our warehouse and manufacturing under one roof, moving to
a 5-acre lot 105,000 square foot facility in Canton, Ohio.
But the most recent excitement is all about our new nut product line. RB&W located in Kent, Ohio discontinued their nut manufacturing giving Dennis the
chance to purchase their equipment and tooling assets.
Since then Airfasco has bloomed into a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of AN-MS and NAS bolts, screws, pins and nuts. Every fastener is proudly
stamped with our AFC logo and is made to industry-standard specifications.
